We employ professional maintenance crews who maintain commercial properties year-round. Our company trucks are lettered with our name and logo and all employees wear a uniform. From spring to fall we are busy mulching, edging, planting seasonal flowers, applying fertilization and weed killer, weeding and turf maintenance. We are currently responsible for maintaining Commercial Class A and Homeowner Associations throughout the Delaware Valley.

Each and every landscape service is delivered with the exceptional quality that sets Brogan Landscaping apart. Below are our customizable landscape service offerings:

Turf Mowing

  • Mowing will be performed on a weekly basis or as weather permits by an assigned crew who is familiar with the property and
    any specific instructions regarding the servicing of the property
  • Prior to each mowing, all reasonable trash, sticks and other unwanted debris will be removed from lawns, plant beds and paved areas
  • Lawn areas will be mowed at a finished height of three-to- four inches throughout the mowing season.
  • Mowing includes trimming around all obstacles, raking or bagging excessive grass clippings and removing debris from walks, curbs and parking areas
  • Mowing patterns will be changed on a regular basis to present the most aesthetically pleasing appearance

Spring Clean Up:

Removal of landscape debris that has accumulated over the winter months

  • Pruning to remove dead wood from shrubs
  • Removal of mulch build-up in beds and tree pits as deemed necessary
  • Edging of all beds and tree wells at a right angle to a depth of two-to- three inches
  • Application of a pre-emergent weed control to all mulched areas

Mulch:

  • All beds and tree wells will be mulched with premium shredded hardwood dyed brown, black and natural undyed mulch in the
    spring
  • Mulch is kept away from the base of the tree trunks and from the crown of the shrubs
  • Our goal is to maintain no more than three inches of organic material

Edging:

Edging of all sidewalks, curbs and other paved areas is done to create a neat, well maintained appearance. Areas will be swept or blown clean.

Weed Control:

Beds and tree wells are weeded on a continuous basis throughout the growing season to maintain a neat appearance at all times. This will be performed through the use of pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides, as well as hand weeding. Chemicals will be used according to the product label.

A non-selective and/or pre-emergent herbicide will be applied on a continuous basis to all walks, curbs and other paved areas to help prevent the growth of weeds.

Pruning:

Pruning is important to manage growth and ensure plant health. Pruning is typically done twice a season, in July and November. The first pruning is scheduled after the majority of the spring growth has occurred. A follow up pruning is done to remove any stray shoots and to shear all formal hedges.

Leaf Removal:

Fallen leaves are removed from the landscaping beds and turf areas in the fall (November/December). In turf areas, leaves will be removed with each mowing from October through November.

Annual Flowers:

We can plant a variety of annual flowers and perennials throughout your landscape to add color to your property. We work with you to customize your seasonal color according to your needs and budget.

We offer a variety of treatments to ensure the health of your trees and shrubs and to prevent disease or insects.
